I was well briefed by my friend who had visited Italy and told me what I should not miss. She told me that I should taste the Gelato ice cream and peaches in wine We were on a package tour of Italy and depended totally on the guide who followed the itinerary that was planned earlier. What was not detailed was the food that we would get to eat. We were mostly taken to Indian restaurants so that we did not feel home sic Some thought I say I neither could taste the Gelato ice cream nor the peaches in wine.
