In this older picture, Aubrey was still a baby and Kaitlyn(her sister)was about 12 years old. The bunny they are holding is Ombre, a rabbit that our son-in-law Christian really adores.
Ombre has been Christian's pet for over ten years now. The pen is towards the back of their yard, so he can enjoy either sunshine or shade. In this picture, Ombre is still quite young, of course.

Aubrey came along when my daughter was married a second time. Now, she's happy. Her other four kids are grownups:)

They let Ombre wander around in the back yard, to eat fresh grass. Someone has to keep a close watch, so a fox doesn't grab him.

Mom let me bring home three bunnies. One ran away, the other two I kept for many years:) The white rabbit outlived the black one:)
