This has been a very lazy Sunday afternoon. Had a nice visit with my pastor after church. Discussing insurance and roof issues. Went to the pharmacy that we patronize in that town and learned what the hold up is for one of the scripts. It seems it was prescribed in a form that is non existent. At home I looked up the closest kind and that stuff is $86 or so per tube. I think I will skip it. I was also going to get a covid booster because the last two or three years I have gotten sick in August when we went back to school. Last year I got covid. I avoided having it all the other time. I think for my self protection I will get the newest bivalent booster. However my insurance will not pay a pharmacy to give it. It must get it at a health department or the Dr. Office. Doctor had already told me to go to the health department, but this was more convenient. I have had a nap and I am waiting on Bob to make burgers. Big exciting afternoon, right? I have been reading a few posts here. it is fun.

We got behind last year. We never got our flu shot; and we never got our 2nd COVID-19 booster shot. We need to do that this year. Enjoy your day.

I trolled the interweb, did some online jigsaw puzzles, opened a can of tuna, did some stitching and sat down here to see what new stuff was going on in the 'Lot but a friend phoned and kept me away from it for 45 minutes. She sure likes to talk.

That seems odd that they won’t pay for a pharmacy to do it. I got my initial vaccination at the Walmart pharmacy, and then my booster at Sam’s Club, where my dad has a membership. My nurse friend, Dominique, gets her boosters at the health department in the city she works in, and I think she’s had six or seven boosters already. I didn’t think that was possible! My other nurse friend, Naomi, won’t get a booster unless she is threatened with the loss of her job. Isn’t it odd two people in the same medical field feel so differently about it?
