Story with 'Horror' Theme

Hi myLot members, how are you doing in this Tuesday. I hope everything goes well and we are still given good health. I still in a confusion while writing some stories that I want to make to fill the season event upcoming. That's right it's "Halloween Day" before the day comes, I need to finish this side story and publishing it. Some of you may be ask, "why side story?" because I'm little bit run out of ideas to include this event into a main story of the books. that's why i make a side story which is the same character that I made before and there are given no effects to the main story that is still on going. So, what is the main idea of this side story in Halloween event? of course it must be a horror story. since the stories before have a nice little joke a little bit, it think to add it to some scene. let's get started. the general idea of the genre is criminal / mystery. it will not so hard if I added 'horror' in it but something feels not right. science of deduction not so matching against ghost, even I watched Sherlock Holmes BBC "The Abominable Bride" something missed at the movie. The closest part of criminal / mystery genre is none other than dangerous serial killer, mass murderer, and something close to that. and it got me thinking about the zombie (let's say the zombie rise with some scientific approach) and happens to run amok in some isolated place like private island or even better a cruise ship. Yeah! that's it. (why I am so exited to discussed my mind about the idea of the story, oh well) there is a raw idea I guess I can work on the beginning of the story and make it interesting.
