One of My Favorite Meals

We splurged and ate out today. I get my meal from Cracker Barrel. The peppered trout. Sometimes they cook it with way too much pepper. I do like pepper but not that much. This time it cooked to perfection. I got mashed potatoes and turnip greens for my sides. What a delicious dinner. The kids got Subway sandwiches. The turkey and ham. I love the biscuits I get too. I remember when my mom used to make biscuits. I would watch her cut out each one with a used baking powder can. Remember when baking powder came in a can? My mom was the best cook. Besides grandma of course.
