Would you end a friendship coz you're bored?

I've seen a lot of movies where couples break up coz one got bored. Have not seen a friendship ending for the same reason. But would you cut ties with friends because you are bored? Or you find them boring? I wouldn't. They are in my life for a reason and they're my friends because of reasons that no boredom could make me break ties with them.

I agree. They’re your friend for a reason, You don’t want to throw that away just because they are boring.

Not the main reason I would get rid of friendship.

@toniganzon I’m pretty boring, but you keep me around as a friend!

No, I wouldn't. I might put space between us, or figure out what about it makes me "bored" and take it from there.

If someone is boring I won't let him/her be my friend but I cannot break a relationship only for this reason.

It may be a shallow reason to break off a friendship.

Friends are friends for a reason and I cannot see how we can get "bored" staying with the friends we have chosen. Couples splitting because of boredom happen, those who married in a childish way, without considering that living together every day is not like going to an amusement park.

And we would never be friends with people who bore us in the first place.

Talking about friendships, we choose them to be in my life and everything going well, even though we do not see each other very often or talk/text very often the friendship is still strong though

Obviously there was something there for you to become friends in the first place. It's tough to make good friends; and I would not end a friendship because I was bored. Enjoy your day.

Sometimes you would get bored if they are never available for you

That's being alone and that's not because of them being boring.
