Missing my grandparents / myLot

I was cleaning my room last night when I found this photo. Its a photo of my grandfather and grandmother carrying me when I was still little. They are my grandparents on my mothets side. My grandfather was in the army with a Captain position. My grandmother is a teacher and property custodian. I grew up with them while my mom was working abroad as a nurse. Since I am the first grandchild , I have a lot of memories with them too. I learned a lot of things from my grandparents and thats why I still miss them. I know they are in a good place now . How about lotters who can read my discussion , do you dtill have your grandparents? Are you missing them too?

@iKONICNoona We have a lot of your people working here. There are quite a few working in aged care. They are very kind to older folk.

@JudyEv Oh thank you maam . Yes during that time a lot of our countrymen chose to work abroad to help families . It happens until now .

@thebos Oh , I know the feeling . I am just fortunate that I had the time growing up knowing my grandparents its a different memory .

I truly am sorry you don’t have them around anymore. All of my grandparents are gone now too, and I especially miss my maternal grandparents. They were everything to me, and I wish I could hug them and tell them I love them right now. Thankfully, I know I’ll see them again someday.

So sorry that they are gone. Mine are gone too but I did not have a strong relationship with them.
