Had a rough night

My bedroom a/c is plugged into a power strip, along with my clock, lamp and fan. I heard it go off at 2:10 or so. I am not sure why. I checked for a flipped breaker, and to see if it was unplugged. Neither one had happened. It was the power strip being over taxed. I hit the reset on the power strip, and all worked well but I was anxious and sat up for a couple of hours. I ate a bowl of cereal, and went back to bed. Since I have been up I have done a lot of things, including mopping both sides of the kitchen and the pantry. I made pancakes for Bob and I. I have a grounded plug for the bedroom a/c and will go take care of that next, along with the possibility of a nap. Hope you are having a good Monday, last day of the month.

Maybe you should plug the AC directly into a wall socket. Enjoy your day.

That's rough. Good to know those power strips work.

I am glad it was not a power outage. I hope you were able to go back to sleep.

Waking up to your power strip flipping off isn't fun. At least it was only the power strip and not a power outage. Hope you can catch up on some sleep with a nice nap today
