So work today was good / myLot

We were well supplied with lots of goodies. There was nothing too boring. There are still many mysteries about staffing, etc. Many things have not been decided on, or enrollment changes and they move staff around. Tomorrow afternoon I will be in a half day "safety" class. We will be reviewing how to see a problem coming and how to avoid or de escalate. We practice staying safe, and helping students feel safe as well. Then I probably do not have anything else in the way of meetings until around the 14th. I have really missed being at school.

Does the safety class include what to do when there's mass shooting?

No, not this class. This is a class about how to help students who have a high likelihood of having emotional problems and possibly becoming physical with staff or other students. We have had some shooter trainings in the past.

@GardenGerty We never have those type of classes. What we have here are only fire and earthquake drills.
