Having rain for a long time becomes boring.

August 5, 2023 10:22pm CST
Monsoon is the season when all offices, schools and colleges are open in India. Now if rain persists for weeks, people face issues while going to schools, offices and at the same time get wet and become sick. Rain continuing for a long time is also boring. 100 years back Cherrapunjee in India used to get highest rainfall. It used to rain everyday for 4 months.

Oh, let me think for a minute... You look young... Maybe middle to late twenties? I get tired of rain after a few weeks but I'm not bored. I can always read books, watch movies or sleep. If there are other people around, I can also tease them to entertain myself. (Much the same things I do when it isn't raining. ) I hope you have a good day today.

thanks DE this photo was taken in 2011, 12 years back. I was 35 years then. In USA DE at least roads are marvellous. In India they are pathetic. My elder son is saying you have not teased him for a long time.

@sathviksouvik So I wasn't too far off with my guess. And yes, I haven't teased your elder son because I was afraid I was making him angry. I only want to tease and make him laugh, not make him angry with me. I hope you and your family are all doing well.

I knew about Cherrapunjee's rain but did not know it was for that long. I will definitely get sick and remain sick if I lived there haha.

I like the rainy season but I don't like excessive rain as it causes flood-like situations in the cities and causes traffic jams on roads due to water logging.

I am glad I no longer live in the big city where rains and floods are perennial problems. Although it rains in where I live now it's not really a problem because we live above sea level and flooding is not a.problem. Flooding only occurs when drainage are clogged and deliberately blocked. Only problem when there's continuous rains is landslide so it's still better to avoid going out of town where you pass by those areas prone to landslides.

It's hot in my location. We need rain here. But I agree raining continuously is boring and may lead to flooding.

At least you don't have to shovel it. In Canada we get 6 months of this.
