Always peel the apple

My friend's mother sternly said to me to always peel the apple before I eat it. And my friend supported what her mom had said. Apple skin contains pesticide as what they believe. But I don't know which one is right. I personally never peeled the apple before I ate it, and I will stick to it. I think the peel is the best part of the apple. How do you eat apple? Do you peel it before you eat it?

Apples aren't my favorite fruit but I have eaten them peeled or not peeled. If the pesticides on an apple was enough to hurt a person then a lot of people would be sick.

If it is organic there are no pesticides, but even if pesticides are used, you can still make fruit and veggies safer. Just use soap and water to wash the apple. Peeling the apple is not going to do much.

I eat apples from the locals, they do not use pesticides and the peel is the best.
