How is that even possible?

Yesterday, hubby and I went to a paint store to get some Benjamin Moore paint for our kitchen. I wasn't sure which color to get from those we narrowed down to at home by looking at the colors on those color strips (not sure what they are called) you get from the store.
I was telling that to the guy behind the counter. Even showed him a sample of our kitchen cabinet. He wasn't helpful. All he did was ask us if we want to take a sample of each paint color for $10 to try it on our walls and see how it will look.
We opted not to do that and went with a lighter color we had chosen, grabbing a gallon of it. Hopefully, we didn't make a mistake.
But here is the freaky thing. I was on YouTube a few minutes ago (on my laptop) and what did I see? An ad for Benjamin Moore paint. And it was telling me to shop their premium paint color samples.

It is possible because we are being spied upon every minute of the day waking and sleeping.
On another note, how was the Italian restaurant?

@lovebuglena Yes I listened to a video on YouTube from a genuine Hacker and he was saying there is no escaping it now..constant surveillance.
But how was the Italian place..will you maybe write about that.

If certain apps have a setting to allow access to our camera, microphone, etc. then I can understand that, as screwed up as it is.

Italian restaurant was good. Since it is next to the beach they had a dress code. No bathing suits or short shirts both for men and women. No white t-shirts for men. No tanks. And some other things I can't remember.
We went to another Italian restaurant for Saturday dinner. It was pretty good too..

Technology hears everything we say and sometimes I think it hears everything we think.

Sounds a bit complicated to me. Sort of what happened to our kitchen in Latvia. I wanted sunny yellow walls and I got honey-colored walls but it was alright I got used to it,

Maybe we should've gotten the two small paint can samples. But I didn't want to deal with that. I was hoping the guy at the store would be helpful and would suggest something. Not sure if he just didn't care to or if he is not allowed to do it. Or if it was some other reason.

@lovebuglena well the best of luck to you but in my opinion salespeople in such stores should help people out and know what to suggest,

Spooky. Yeah that happened to be once with Ibotta. I was looking at an article about pads and one brand that was mentioned appeared in Ibotta that never appeared on there before.

@lovebuglena Ibotta is a cash back app where you pick items and get cash back when you take a picture of your receipt.

@LindaOHio I’d think that would be true if I’m connected to the same WiFi, but I wasn’t.

@lovebuglena What DE said. You use the same internet on your phone as you use on your laptop.
