Meet Little Oreo

We have a new family member and his name is Oreo. I got him yesterday. He is a mixed chihuahua: apple head and fur coat. In fact, I will be his foster parent because it is my younger sister's boy's puppy. Her son named him Oreo which contradicts to his fur color.
Speaking of being a foster parent, I need to be more careful because he is so small. The owner released him so early, he is barely one-month old.
Have you ever tried to be a foster parent of a puppy or kitten before?

I haven't had a puppy or kitten since I moved into my own house.

@Shavkat No, I don't have the room in this house for the tank the sharks would need.

@Shavkat We had many too and the oldest was Naaki she lived for 16 years and gave us Bhagira and Nimmi who lived for 14 and 12 years respectively
Since you have had dogs earlier you will be able to take care of this one month old puppy.

In my family, I am really a pet lover. My siblings do like animals, but I am more loving to them. That is why my old man keeps on giving me pet animals to take good care of, such as dogs, roosters, hens, etc. If I can only have a mini-zoo, I will have more domestic animals.

I had thought about being foster cat parent, but I couldn't do it because I would get too attached to cat.

I must say that this is the second time that I am going to raise a puppy. Our old dogs were taken care of by the whole family. My friend and I were also thinking that it was too early for this young puppy to be released. For this reason, I am taking the risk. I have a grown-up chihuahua that was given to me for more than two months. At that point, I was able to bring him to the vet for the first vaccine. For this young pup, I need to wait another month to get his first vaccine. That's why I am so cautious and am not letting him go out.

What a cutie! My sister has a long-haired chihuahua named Chuck, and he's quite a handful. He was also a foster, and my sister's friend ended up just giving him to her. We found out that he was abused by her friend's boyfriend and that is why he is acting up on men. However, after a few years, he has warmed up to my younger brother. But he is still wary of other men.
