My Sister's Louboutins Are Here

My baby sister is getting married this upcoming November. She is like a daughter to me and is quite spoilt. For her wedding she asked if I could get her shoes. And of course I said yes. She found this gorgeous Louboutins online and she fell in love with it. So my mission was to get it for her. One problem, it costs 690£. And for months now I have been struggling to procure it until my credit card AMEX had an offer to buy at a certain luxury online shop and get a cashback of 100£ if I spent more than 600£. I checked if they had the brand and then I filtered it to white shoes and found it. I grabbed the offer and now I finally got her shoes. They are really gorgeous that it makes me want one too but the heels look deadly and my feet are too fat for dainty shoes like these. I do really hope my sister can walk in it without problems.

Those are once-in-a-lifetime shoes and I'd make sure my sister knew that.

@DaddyEvil Ahahaha I know. It was quite a bittersweet purchase for me and I love her to bits. I would not even buy it for myself.

@flapiz I understand. I'm not sure I would have paid that even if she was my little sister.

I know that Louboutins shoes are very expensive. I never wore so high heels. I donated many of my shoes one month ago, too high heels for me now.

I have stopped wearing high heels since I had my ankle injury. I would've loved to accept those heel donations from you I am sure they'd be gorgeous and tasteful!

@LadyDuck Oh I think you can upload photos but you have to change it to a smaller size. I do know you have excellent taste. I wish I was your neighbour

@flapiz I almost cried when I placed in the donation container. Those were pretty shoes. Let see if I can upload a photo, at least one. I try. The photo does not show.

I could never bring myself to pay that much money for shoes, and if my sister wanted a pair, I’d tell her to spend her own money. She’d never let me pay for them though. I understand a potential bride wanting things to be perfect for her wedding. I just hope she really appreciates it. It was beyond sweet of you.

I really am praying it fits her. At least I will get to see her in it. I would not spend such money on myself but then it is my bridal present and she is after all like my first child. I am happy so long as she is too

What a sweet gift to your baby sister, and very lux too! I want to buy a Louboutin myself, but I am saving for one. It's a luxury, so it can wait until I have enough saved from my side gigs. Well, my side gigs don't earn as much as my bread-and-butter job, but that's okay. I can wait! How does she like her new shoes? Can she walk in them without pain? Maybe she can use Emla.

She will get it when I go home as if I ship it it would talk 3-5 months or get lost. Does EMLA work for shoes? That's good to know. I am sure God be willing you will get Louboutins one day too. I don't mind buying it for my sister but I do not think I would want it for myself.

@Raine38 I am a nurse and we use emla more for injections and minor surgical procedures but I think it is clever to use it on feet too

@flapiz Emla is like a numbing cream or spray so your toes don't hurt too much when wearing really high heels, or just when you're not used to wearing heels and is going to for a few hours.

For all the effort you put into getting those shoes for her (not to mention the cost), I hope they fit her comfortably and that she enjoys wearing them! You're a great big sister!

@flapiz Are they a size you could fit into? If they don’t fit her, or are uncomfortable, perhaps you can wear them yourself.

The heels are too thin it feels like it would break. Surely it will be difficult to walk in it without practice.

I showed her the photo last night and she was so excited I just wish that it will fit her as sometimes shoe sizes can be awkward.

I am not a high heel person but I got jealous of it and had a calling to try it on. Unfortunately my feet is too fat for them.
