I forgot about the rubber gloves...

Husband and I went out for errands and shopping yesterday. I did make a list of things to do and to buy but somehow forgot to write down the rubber gloves that I so desperately need when washing and cleaning. I've got two pairs of rubber gloves in the city flat but none left in this biggie house. I'd been meaning to scrub the two toilet bowls, wipe the window sills and jalousies, and clean the upstairs electric fans. Oh well. I've got one and half days left to spend in this house before we head back to the city tomorrow. The rains compel us to stay indoors. I'll probably just change the dusty curtains and discard some old clothing... My cough just stopped, uh, *coughing* after I purchased 15 Lagundi capsules at the pharmacy. I didn't even get to swallow one. The coughing ran off with the bug. I still have a bit of the sniffles, though I'm using less tissue paper now than the previous days -- which means I can already have my favorite pinipig (rice puff) ice cream soon. For dinner tonight, I'll be making some bistek tagalog (Filipino style beef steak) and blanched water spinach with enoki mushrooms, oyster sauce and toasted garlic.
