I am honestly super excited for this vacation. My off days at work starts next week until upto next month. I really need a rest I can't wait to relax wake up at any time and just let go of the tight cumbersome schedule. My sister also starts her leave next week. The timing was perfect we always talked about going on vacation together and having fun just the two of us. We used to go on trips together all sort of stuff try new things together until she was transferred to another country and our schedules and off days have not been in our favour until this one. We are really excited and we thought of places to go but it was difficult to come to an agreement. What places did you visit and you had fun. Please tell me your experiences I'm eager to hear about them. We have until next week to decide. She is also flying in next Monday. I really can't wait

Oh my this will be a big deal. Where do you think you may go? Beach, mountains or city? I had one vacation in my whole working life..one only..of 1 week but I made the most of it at the beach.

My relatives and myself visited Montreal Canada in 1976 to visit the city for the Summer Olympics for a few days. My memory of visiting Canada was a pizza parlor known as The Esplanade which had the best pizza I ever ate. Advice I can give you to learn the language of the host nation since the language barrier can be a pain to deal with.

@Sayisii Especially when in eastern Canada where the signs were in French which I do not have a solid grip on their words.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I’m partial to the mountains, although I know most prefer the beach. But I love the feeling I get when I’m surrounded by magnificent trees, and dips and valleys in the midst of mountains.

My sister also prefers the mountains. I've been there and i loved the peace and serene one experiences surrounded by the trees and the valleys. I will love to visit there too.

What a nice thing to look forward to. Take lots of photos. Vacations are so memorable that way. I recall going to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. We made it to Victoria and it was all wonderful.

I hope you and your sister will have a great vacation. I have not been on a vacation in ages. You have to decide where you to would have the most fun either the beach, the mountains, or sightseeing in a city.

I am glad you and your sister were able to get the same time off. I hope you agree on something and have a great time together. I prefer going to the mountains. The beach is also beautiful but it is more crowded. When I visit different areas I like to look up historic sites in the area and also museums.

I hope you and your sister are able to settle on a destination and have some nice time together. Time away from work is welcome, when I worked I always looked forward to vacation time.
