Three-screen madness

Amazon came through with the replacement monitor today. This one works fine. Even better, it allows me to extend my display across three screens. I am in geek heaven for the moment. On the left screen, I have a social media site where I've been posting book promos. On the center screen, I am myLotting at the moment. On the right screen, I have my e-mail, to-do list, and calendar app open. Staying focused may be an issue for a few days as if it wasn't already. Still, I'm loving this. Is one screen enough for you? Would you rather have 2, 3, or more?

This does sound like Nirvana..good and glad it came fine this time. You must be so happy. I have a Samsung Tablet that does that but I have not got the hang of it yet.

After giving it a try today, I might go back to just two screens. One for doing the work and one for research and such I need while I'm writing. Then again, keeping the third one open for email and calendar isn't so bad, is it?

It’s too distracting for me. I like one screen at a time.

I'd probably be better off with one, but this is just so cool.

@RubyHawk I actually was at a point today where having 3 screens came in very handy. I may get spoiled.

@DWDavis Then enjoy three screens. I might if I let myself get used to it.

I am glad, too. The resolution on it is excellent. I think it will be a big help in getting writing done when I'm camping.

One screen is fine for me. Pretty uses three screens. She's usually playing a video game on one, has a movie playing on the second screen and is texting with friends on the third... maybe talking on the third. It depends on what game she's playing.

If you count my tablet, which is usually opened to one of those merge/idle games, you could say I was using 4 screens today. But the three running off the laptop are all linked in such a way that I can navigate and cut and paste from one to the other.

@DWDavis Pretty usually has three phones running with games to earn money.. I don't know how she's using them all at the same time. She keeps trying to set up my tablets to do the same and I tell her my eyes can't handle that much screen time.

One at a time is enough for me but I know our son has at least three or four. Go for it!

I had something I was trying to do this afternoon where having 3 screens tied into one another was very handy.

That sounds pretty darn cool. I’m okay with just one screen. It’s better for me not to be tempted to look at more than one thing at a time.

One is plenty for me. Our daughter works with 2 or 3 screens for her job

One screen is enough for me. I usually have 3 or 4 websites up at the same time. Have a good day.
