Nadine Earles, a four year old, died December 18, 1933 of diphtheria. She wanted a doll house for Christmas but sadly she died before she got her gift.
Her dad spent 18 months building her a doll house but she died and now it's her crypt and filled it with her own toys she played with before she died.
The grave is in Lanett, Alabama at the Oakwood cemetery.
Her parents are buried next to the house as well.
From what I researched, some newer toys were put in there but unsure if it was her parents doing so over the years.
I've seen some beautiful markers, crypts etc. but this one is the most beautiful and heart hurting.
Have you see anything that stands out in a cemetery?
Photo is from research on the internet. Not sure who owns it as it was in several different articles. This one is from Roadtrip.

I've had a lot of deaths. I'm different. I find peace when I go to cemeteries. I pay respects even to strangers. When I was in CA, I spent weekends restoring some headstones and gravesites at different older cemeteries that had long been neglected.

What an interesting story. I have seen some very nice monuments in cemeteries. Would love to see the cemeteries in New Orleans.

How sad for that family.
I have not noticed anything unusual in a cemetery.
