I do enjoy a few horror films. I don't care for gorry or blood but a few steps past scary is okay. Like "The Hills Have Eyes" and the Hannibal trilogy. I do go in for the old 40s Frankenstein and the Werewolf. Those are typical for Halloween don't you think? I would like to see something new and different this year. Something witchy and Vincent Price evil. Have you seen "I Married a Witch"? Veronica Lake as a witch. What are some of your favorite horror movies? Ones like Rosemary's Baby and Exorcist are simply classics. I get tired of them. Want something different this year. With all the apps and cable channels available I am hoping for something different this time around.

I am a fan of classic horror movies that were released before I was born that were televised on Panamanian television on Friday Nights called "The Zero Hour." These days I look at the classic horror movies on the Svengoolie show that plays on Saturday Night on Memorable Entertainment Television (ME Tv) which has some great humor by the host Rich Koz.

My stepbrother and I used to watch some scary sci-fi. Good ol' channel 8. We get Svengoolie here too. Should be some good on it in October.

I enjoyed both Rosemary's Baby and the Exorcist. I also liked the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. I have some good Vincent Price movies and some movies from Stephen King Novels.

Horror has a lot of sub-genras so everyone as there likes. My husband is more of what I would say is a feature creature so yes like vampires, werewolves, or even aliens and so on. I like them all from Supper Blood like Chainsaw, to things like Scream where the people are supper human just smart in the serial killer way, to things like witches, magical, zombies, infections, to animals

Oh yes I am a big horror fan, things like Insidious and The Conjuring. Not much these days to be horrified by though. Yes Vincent lived up the street from me in St Louis.

Even though it's gory, I like the Purge and Saw movies. I like the plot of the Saw movies. I don't like jump scare movies. I read the spoiler of Smile than seeing it because it's not the kind of movie I want to see.

I don't like many horror movies. I quite like some Folk Horror - films like The Wicker Man and some vampire films. I like the old Hammer House of Horror films but a lot were really quite camp and glamorous. They were probably very scary at their time of release. Not a fan of gore or torture stuff or zombie films

I am a big vampire fan. Was very excited to hear they are coming out with another Blade movie soon. Snipes won't be in it though I guess.

@KarenAnne .......The Blade trilogy is one of my favorites. The new one is going to be interesting with the different actors. Hope it comes out on something I have access to.

@celticeagle I love the Blade films. I don't think they get enough credit for basically making comic-book films both cool and possible. First R-rated, first black "superhero" film. Snipes also wanted to do Black Panther but couldn't get backing other than Stan Lee who also wanted to do it. I wonder if the studios that turned that down are kicking themselves - they should be. Mahershala Ali is playing Blade in the new film. He was good as Cotton Mouth in Luke Cage so I'm hopeful he can pull it off.

I tend to enjoy the campy ones like Disturbing Behavior with Katie Holmes, or The Faculty with Josh Hartnett. I can still creep my sister out by quoting a few lines in “Disturbing Behavior” using the same voice the creepy character did. I don’t do gore though. No Saw movies for me.

For different, check out FreeVee. Sci-fi Classics might have some you might not have seen or heard of. Tubi too. I think there's a horror channel too. I don't go into horror or scary movies. Though the Frankenstein and Werewolf movies from the forties are tame by today's standards and still make for good movie watching.

I like FreeVee. Watch Judge Judy on there. MeTv has Svengoolie on the weekends which is horror usually. I enjoy the old forties scare fare.

I love the old sci-fi movies that are so bad that they're good. I like thrillers but not so much horror movies. I don't like to jump every 5 minutes. Have a good day.

I am a fan of horror and action movies. Between the two I find myself more drawn to horror. I love the thrill and mystery that it brings.
