Boardgames!

I want to know if there are MyLotters (is that what we call ourselves here? tee hee) who are also big fans of modern boardgames?
I'm not talking about Chess or Monopoly or Backgammon, but more like Splendor, Wingspan, and Ark Nova. If this is sounding familiar to you, then hit me up and send me a message. I want to build a boardgame community here in MyLot if that's even allowed or possible 
By the way, if you're curious about modern boardgames I can recommend some good websites (BoardGameGeek and BoardGameArena comes to mind) and Youtube channels too (DiceTower, JonGetsGames, WatchItPlayed) It's never too late to develop a new hobby after all and from my personal experience, boardgamers are generally cool, fun-loving people albeit too competitive at times

I play a few games online including Splendor. Ticket To Ride is probably my favourite but I just play against the computer. The other one I really like is Azul. My husband and I play that and sometimes we have a game with our son who lives in Ireland. We are in Western Australia. The technology is amazing these days.

I haven't heard of the new modern board games you mentioned above. I played lots of the old classic board games.
