It was a craze with me to collect fridge magnets whenerver I went on tour. There were countless of them and I used to give them away as travel memorabilia. Actually they are meant to hang 'reminders' I have never used them for that purpose but just to remember the holidays I had been to.
Today there is not a single fridge magnet stuck there and I do not even know who could have robbed them.
Do you still collect them and if so do you hang 'reminders' up there?

I only have two magnets on my fridge; one says, "No outfit is complete without dog hair", and the other says " Amazing Grace How Sweet the Sound". One magnet holds up a picture my niece, Amyra, drew. The other holds a newspaper article my late grandmother cut out of the paper and sent me. It is of a Chihuahua in an elf costume, and she thought it looked like my Chihuahua, Annabelle (who has since passed away).

We never really collected them but we do have a dozen of them, maybe... We use them to hold new recipes on the fridge until we try the recipe and either throw it away or add it to our homemade recipe book.

Your fridge door must therefore have a colourful look. Do you tear up pages from any cook book for that?

I was crazy the same way and kept collecting them. But then fridge was overloaded with them and triggered my OCD for neatness
. I took them out and gave away few and threw away few. Now we have few, but nothing from travel. They are emergency number of hospital, technician number etc. All functional ones

We have a craze for anything on earth We had a craze for casettes and now they are lying idle and then cam CDs same story. Youtube has taken over. The way we collected crockery and cutlery and they again are languishing as we no longer lay tables but food is eaten straight from the buffet table where food is kept.
Such is life

@arunima25 Atleast you have some use for your artistic creativity I have asked someone to pick them up. Life is too fast and these upgrades are too much for the likes of me to handle

@allknowing I agree there. I have used so many CDs in recycling art work but still I have a box of them. With age, I am getting wise and moving towards minimalistic life. I find it very spiritual.

I have many of them at home pasted in our ref and when there is a kid coming at home, expect robbery of them
. I had many of them when I went to Auckland and when my nieces spend short vacation at home from UK and Dubai, they bring me fridge magnets.

I used to buy fridge magnets when I traveled. I keep some and gave some to my friends. I do not put all magnets on the fridge. Just a few I particularly like.
