Good morning fellow mylotters. I was so hoping this cold would be gone by the end of the week but, here it is Friday and I still have congestion and this nagging cough. Thank you for all of the well wishes on my previous post "I Don't Feel Good" of September 13th. I got some cold and flu medicine I had been wanting to try called 'Umcka'. It is supposed to lessen the severity of colds but I didn't take it early on. Supposed to be taken at the first signs. It is elderberry flavored and I do like the taste. It really helps with the cough.
I am ready for a nice cup of tea with honey. I do feel better than I did yesterday. I am glad I am having some good days just wish the entire thing would leave me. I believe this next week will be the third week. The kids are nearly back to normal and that is good.

I just wrote a post about medicines sold as decongestants that have found to be completely ineffective as decongestants (but fine for cough and such). They are still being sold as decongestants. I’m sure the one you bought is much better since it sounds like a new brand that is more natural.

Hmm... colds don't usually hang around that long... are you sure you aren't having seasonal allergies to the ragweed pollen? Ragweed pollen levels are the highest in the US in September but hits your area earlier than it hits mine. . Pretty and I have both been having fun with it.
