27 September - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from an overcast, cool day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.
I have much to be thankful for, as usual. Do you know it's healthier to be thankful than to be negative? It can add years to your life. Think about it while you read what I'm thankful for and then tell me why you're thankful.
I'm thankful for the seven hours of sleep I got last night. I woke up refreshed and didn't feel like I was in a rush to get things done.
I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. I got five miles on the bike while the others worked out to the shorter tape.
I'm thankful for the tea and conversation this morning after I got back from a quick trip to town, with my friend down the hall. Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to.
I'm thankful for the Bible study this afternoon in the community room. We're studying the Tabernacle. It's so fascinating.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished for the first time in over a week. I started losing notifications. So, I'm glad I'm now caught up and started visiting your posts. It always puts a smile on my face when I can visit with you.
I'm thankful for the scale. It's been good lately. Or rather, I've been good lately. I'm keeping to the budgeted calories.

I try to show or express gratitude in each and every situation I encounter every day. Life is so much better when you are a gracious and thankful person!
Today I am especially thankful for my exercise/stretching program that my physical therapist set up for me. My back has been hurting a lot in the last few days, and the exercises really do wonders in helping me feel better.

I'm thankful for the rain, even if we did go out in it. I'm thankful the second new smoke detector in less than twenty-four hours seems to be working. I am thankful we used our food card in time.

Since it is the 28th here I will say I am thankful to be alive and to visit with my cat and for our Jewish holiday coming up on Friday which lasts for 7 days. You are right, all those old sayings telling us to look on the bright side, count our blessings, never go to bed angry, see the positives in everything, smile and the world smiles with you and all that... turns out they were all right all along and it is the best thing to do in terms of mental health and stress levels and just general happiness - as well as making us nicer to be around of course!

I am thankful for the You Tube channels that have messages from God's Word to be grateful for what I have earned from the work that I do and the payment for doing surveys came in the mail this afternoon.

I'm thankful that I saw this post and it reminded me to always be grateful for whatever I have and experience in my life.
For today I am also grateful that yesterday's September 27th has passed well and I am still given the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful morning today and still given health to continue my daily activities very well.
