28 September - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I didn't need to go anywhere for a change.
I'm thankful for getting the laundry done early this morning.
I'm thankful the visiting nurse was a phone visit instead of an in-person one. He surprised me by remembering I have a book coming out soon.
I'm thankful for a great win at Canasta today. It was a fun game and very noisy in the community room.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished. I love spending time with you.
Okay, that's my day. It's time to find something to eat, turn on the TV, and prepare for football. It's the Packers and Lions tonight at 7 CDT if you plan to watch it.

@AmbiePam I was up at 2:30 yesterday morning, so I was falling asleep before the end of the first half. When they got that second touchdown making it 24-3, oh wait, that's third touchdown. I went to bed. I'm up early again this morning, but I'm going back to bed soon.

You didn't need to watch it on Amazon Prime. It was on NBC. It's good you didn't watch it. I went to bed before the end of the second quarter. The Pack was down 24-3 by then. I was falling asleep watching it because I was up at 2:30 in the morning. I found out the score when I got up a short while ago. I'll be going back to bed soon. The score was 34-20.

I am thankful for the rain, even if it does slow me down. I am thankful while overcast I wasn't hit bad. It could've been a lot worse. I'm thankful I'm getting things done I need. I'm glad you didn't have to go anywhere. Also proud of myself for getting laundry done overnight.

@Marilynda1225 Oh well. It's only a game. Someone wins, someone loses. We're a young team. I'm not expecting a winning season, but I would like to win a few games, especially against our team rivals.

I'm glad you had a good day.
I couldn't do any laundry today if I wanted to because we still haven't got our new washing machine!
I'm glad I managed to do an oil pastel picture of figs today.
I'm also thankful I've replied to all my notifications. It's fun to do.
