Never had to do that...

I've had three different neighbors upstairs since I've moved here, and I have never had to go up and ask them to keep the noise down until today. My new neighbor has a four year old girl who evidently constantly runs around, and all I hear is "BANG! BANG! BANG! through my celing. I am thanking the Lord He kept my tongue civil. There's plenty of grass around here for kids to run on, but I noted the little girl, who was rolling around on the floor was wearing only a shirt and underwear. She has no pants so that she can go outside? I also noticed that the lady has practically no furniture. No wonder the little one has space to run around. It's quieter now, at least, and the lady apologized. I hope she can find something for the little girl to do. Come to think of it, I just thought of maybe getting a little basket/bag together of things that she can occupy herself with--like I said, it looked like there was nothing in that apartment. Besides, I have three nephews, so I've never gotten to buy girly stuff.

That is sweet of you to think of to do. A little kid (2 actually) is the reason I live on the top floor now. When I lived on the bottom, my upstairs neighbor had two grandchildren that ran and stomped so much above me I couldn't stand it.

This brings back memories. My Mom always had a basket of stuff when my daughter visited with her. Plastic things that my daughter could put together- one might have been an elephant when the pieces were together. Daughter loved visiting my Mom.

My grandmother had a bunch of those "Fun Pads" for my brother and I--with coloring and mazes and "find the differences" and stuff like that in them.

Well, you're a kind neighbour if you do that. It's hard to keep kids from running around.

It is these days, though there's a park right across the street from my apartment complex. Don't know if she knows that yet.

Sweet of you to turn an annoyance into a chance to bless someone. You have a kind spirit that let you notice the needs in that home. God did keep you civil.

Maybe the child nothing to play with and nothing to do but run in the apartment. That would be neat to get her a few toys.

You are very kind but try to find out if she is being stingy.
