Thanks to the actions of Lowe's and Building Homes For Heroes which is a nonprofit group that are grateful for the services of retired U S Army Captain Hans Mumm who worked with the U S military as an intelligence officer in 2003 in Iraq. Captain Mumm was medically discharged in 2010 after injuries he suffered in combat from exposure to improved explosive devices (IED) affected his ability to serve his nation. The not for profit group learned that Captain Mumm and his wife were victims of a contractor that stole their money when they ran away from the couple when the crooks took the money that was paid upfront and they never built the home they were supposed to have built in their hometown in Zebulon North Carolina. The good news is that the Mumm family will now be able to live in their own home mortgage free. It is nice to see that not for profit groups teamed up with Lowe's hardware to build a home for a war hero since freedom is not free at all. Link is breitbart.com/local/2023/09/...via @BreitbartNews

I'm so glad to read a story like this. Too many people take advantage of war heroes and military veterans. It's good to see some good come from what happened and they have a mortgage-free home.

That is true that many war veterans of our recent wars are mistreated by crooks in our homeland. The crooks that stole money from Capt. Mumm will get what is coming to them.

The not for profit did a good thing by building them a home mortgage free. I have never had a mortgage on my home. I pay cash for my homes.

I agree with Amber. I hope the crook chokes on the money he stole from these people. I'm so glad they will have a mortgage-free home.

Evil deeds get repaid in due time in our lifetime as well as in the afterlife. As well as good deeds.

I am glad he and his wife got that gift, and I hope that contractor chokes on the money he stole from them.

There are some people that do not appreciate their freedoms in our nation at all.
