Happy Teacher's Day to Me

As of tomorrow, most students in my country will not have classes. It's Teacher's Day for teachers in the Philippines. Since I am working and teaching online, my non-native speakers do not know this. So, I will just greet myself and feel happy to be inclined toward this profession. Do you sometimes greet yourself on special occasions? Will you feel sad if no one greets you on special occasions?

I only feel deceived when my husband forgets my birthday. Did you try to replace your avatar? Now it disappeared.

I have not experienced being surprised on my birthday. I was trying to change my avatar and failed. It did not appear the new image and tried to upload the old one, but it did not appeared, too.

@LadyDuck I agree. I thought it was only when posting discussions that images would not appear. In the meantime, I will use this avatar.

@Shavkat The photo feature does not work, people do not change their avatars now because they know we cannot upload a new one and we cannot get back to our previous one.

I would feel the same way. But then, I don't usually expect them to do it.

I was thinking that having tears of joy is the reaction. Can I ask why?

My family always remember my birthday even if we have a few food in our table for my birthday celebration. My niece celebrated her 7th birthday with a lot of food in our table and a simple birthday party included also whenever she has celebrate her birthday yearly.

It is also the same thing. Kids need to have birthday celebrations, even if they are prepared in a simple way. Personally, I do have some food preparations and the like on my birthday. It does not need to be extravagant.
