Onions are eaten raw by many. I eat them too. But the only minus point is they leave a bad breath.
Considering their taste and the health properties they are loaded with they should be eaten the bad breath notwithstanding.
Onions are good for the heart and they improve blood circulation. So what are you waiting for Have onions every day

I have seen my dad bite into an onion raw, and it not bother him. It was for a church scavenger hunt, and none of the other teams could force themselves to completely eat a raw onion. His love of onions in any form won his team the contest. And, kept my mom from kissing him the rest of the night.

@allknowing Aren’t onions just wonderful! I’d be lost without onions and life would lose a lot of interest without them. I eat a lot of raw onion and raw garlic.

@allknowing I’m afraid I couldn’t eat raw onions. I used to eat them raw in salads but that’s too strong for-me now.

They are used in several different ways and they help food to taste good. There could be some situations where onions are not welcome. I surely will not use them while baking my cake (lol)
