My mother had to file something for her pension, and she had to wake up very early to get to the Pension Office before it became crowded. She sent me a photo of herself sitting in one of those seats, and I was like, ‘Oh my! I hate those seats!’
They remind me of all the hours I spent sitting in them while waiting for government staff to process my papers, or for bank tellers to call my name, or for airline staff to finally announce that my flight was delayed by three hours. Those seats don’t give me any happy memories at all. Lol
Anyway, thank God someone noticed that my mom is a senior citizen and she was ushered inside the office promptly.
How about you there? Do you have any stories for these seats?

Yes...these seats are very common here as well and they bevome very important for us when they are not empty

yes,when we need a seat,it is really important,just like standing on a crowded bus,then a seat can delight us and relieve tireness.Even two persons fight for a seat,it's possible

Yes..waiting for hours here..but it is the police guards and sheriffs that are the problem..not the seats.

@sol_cee I mean at government places, they have guards and police and if you get out of line and waiting..they will hammer you ..

don't reckon i knew such 'twas still'n service? those look nicer'n any i've waited 'pon. bus stations...what a nightmare, lol.

I hate them even more in a dentist's waiting area

I think i saw that chairs in bus terminals, and some schools waiting area, just don't remember the school.

To the best of my knowledge, we do not have them here, but we have uncomfortable seating in many of the same places you mentioned.

these seats remind me of train station,I ever sit such seat for long time wait at a train station.You mom is lucky not wait too long.every time when i reach a station,usually wait about one hour.that's unpleasant experience.
