Or is this Saturday disguised as Thursday? Yep, I'm still feeling my days are mixed up.
Anyway, it's Thursday according to the calendar. It's a beautiful sunshiny day here in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Currently, it's 41F according to my computer. Alexa told me we're getting rain tonight. We need it. I saw a bit of the weather a couple of nights ago and the weekend is rainy. Up to three inches. I hope so. I would like to see an end to the drought. An early winter with lots of snow would be wonderful.
Okay, so what are today's plans?
My son's girlfriend will be here in an hour to take me to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles). It seems one of Green Bay's finest decided to stop me yesterday on the way home from picking up my friend after she dropped off her car. I got a warning. He couldn't read my license plate because it is worn off. I need new plates.
When I get back, hopefully, my friend's car will be ready. I'll take her to pick up the car.
Other than that, it is Thursday and that means Canasta. This week, I'll be able to play. Last week I couldn't because I was at the eye doctor.
That's it. A light day, I hope. I also plan to work on my book and get the notifications finished.

Somebody should make Furd spend a couple days and nights parked in a hospital hallway... then maybe he'll beef up our healthcare funding, none of this privatization nonsense. Hope you're on the mend.

Currently 12°C/54°F with and expected high of 16°/60°, partly cloudy but the sun is trying hard to come through, no rain expexted until Saturday...
I hope to get some cleaning done today...

Hope your time at the DMV goes quickly. Lucky you only got a warning about the plates.
Enjoy your day especially playing Canasta.
Today is my day to catch up on some housework. Chicken for dinner so I'm not playing the "what's for dinner" game

@just4him I made the chicken in the crockpot using Campbell's crockpot sauce ( sweet and tangy). First time I tried it but it was really good

Looks like you are ready for Halloween! Your decorations look very nice. Yikes, I would have a stroke if I was stopped by the police. I'm glad you just got a warning. Hope you had fun playing Canasta. Have a good day.

The building is ready for Halloween. The curio cabinet is in the foyer of the building. There's a woman here who does a wonderful job decorating for all the seasons.
I knew I didn't do anything wrong. I have new plates on the car. Canasta was fun. I hope your day is good too.

I love your Halloween display. I hate, hate anytime a cop follows me even if I am doing nothing wrong. You could always be stopped for some reason like that. One time I got stopped because they thought I didn't have an inspection sticker. The policeman apologized saying it was the way the sun was shining, he couldn't see it..

The woman who does the decorating does a great job. The curio cabinet always looks great.
