The Evening Parade

When I lived with my ex(in a home) and we were still happy we had a Blue Healer dog and a couple of cats. Each evening we would take off from our North end home to walk a few blocks around where we lived. Nice smaller homes with well-manicured lawns. One place we called the Dwarf Home because it looked like a home where dwarves lived. We would be engrossed in conversation and not paying any attention. About a half-hour into our walk, I'm not sure which of us happened to glance back and see the funny sight behind us. A few feet back was one of the cats with the dog a few feet behind him. And, bringing up the rear was the ginger kitty. (It's been so long now I don't recall their names) It was so funny to look back and see this parade of animals following behind us like a parade up the street.
