Missed out on saving 10% off my order

I found my mom curtains on Wayfair. She liked them and asked me to get them for her.
I thought I can just check out as a guest but it asked me to create an account. I didn't really want to create an account but no choice.
Once I was done, I went ahead and placed the order. I was happy everything went fine but then I noticed an email from Wayfair welcoming me to the site and giving me 10% off my first order.
Since I already placed the order I can't get 10% off. Once you complete an order you cannot apply the promo code to that purchase.
For a second I thought no big deal, I'll just use the promo code on my next purchase. But that won't work as the email says 10% off on my first order. Bummer!
I wish I had opened that email before I had placed the order. Getting 10% off is still a good discount.

I hate when that happens. Or I will forget about a coupon that I have. Really annoys me. Have a good day.

It does seem like I can use the code still. As a test, I put something in the cart and applied the code and it worked.

It sure is. 10% may not seem like much but it is still saving me money so hate to miss out on that.

It was interesting. I pretended to buy something again by adding an item to my cart and then entered that promo code and it worked. Guess I can use it when I actually decide to get something else. Code expires the 30th.
