I Will Call That Productive

It happens sometimes. I get on a roll. With writing, that is. I guess part of it is that I love to write, and beyond that I tend to have a lot of things to say.
Yeah, yeah. I hear ya already. "That Porwest is REAL windbag, that guy."
I write in several places. And no, I don't consider what I do on myLot as "writing," and so I don't count it. And that's not a dis against myLot or anyone here who puts a bit more time, effort and care into their musings here.
I'm just saying that for me it's a different form even if it's ultimately still putting words to blank screen that people will eventually read.
So, I got two articles written for HubPages. One that I hit the publish button for already and the other I left to sit in the waits just to let the other one digest a little bit before publishing the next one.
Not that it necessarily matters. Different topics. Different audiences. And the way HubPages works is very different than how it works here.
But I feel like getting that done was productive. I will look forward to soon counting all the loose change I will get from them. Yeah, you heard me right. Loose change. It's not like any of this writing brings in big bucks or anything like that.
But it is still fun and, like I said, I will call it productive.

@porwest At one time they increased their minimum words. Do you know what the minimum is now?

@LindaOHio I thought it was somewhere around 750. Let me check. Basically it says, "Write 700-1250 words and use multiple Text Capsules with descriptive, concise sub-headings to increase your chances of gaining search traffic."

@just4him It might be worth looking into again. I mean, I wouldn't let it take away from your mainstay, your books of course. But again, it's not really a good place for fiction and I am not sure what interest you have in writing nonfiction pieces.
It's also not a good site for blog style stuff or everyday life necessarily.

For me I never am at a loss for something to talk about. As some here may attest. lol. It is more time consuming considering the type of writing and length. But I really enjoy it and it does make enough to make it worth my while. So, for that reason I keep doing it—although writing is not something I do solely for making money.

Productive isn't a bad thing. I like when I can be productive and get some things done. Glad you got some Articles written.

I like writing myself since I can express my thoughts on the internet on subjects that I like to share with my readers.
