I didn’t plan it this way, but this song will also serve as an introduction to next month’s countdown: songs with “gonna” in the title (suggested by @JudyEv ). The late, great Tony Rice just went to town on the guitar and this Lester Flatt song with equal enthusiasm. This is about as stereotypically bluegrass as you can get: a sad lament that you can clog to.
