I hope you enjoy looking after your daughter. My lunch today is just a prawn layered salad so no preparation necessary. Dinner tonight is smart prawn linguine. Prawns again. I'm going to start to look like a prawn! But the problem was I forgot to put the prawns out to thaw! You're supposed to put them out to thaw for a minimum of 8 hours in the fridge. So instead I've just put them out and layered them on a plate, not in the fridge. So hopefully they'll be thawed before I come to do my dinner tonight now.

@sharonelton years ago when I worked at the Little Chef (remember them?) we used to thaw the frozen prawns by just putting them in a sieve and running them under the cold tap for a couple of minutes. That works just fine.

Yes, I'm enjoying staying home Mylotting! It's been a busy morning. We've had 3 people ring our doorbell. The first one was British Gas come to take the old washing machine away. The second one was the delivery people who brought the new washing machine asking if we had some scrap to take away, and I said it's already been taken. The third was two guys delivering a mattress and we told them they had the wrong address. The place they wanted was three doors up the road! My step-dad went out to get my Mum's repeat prescription from Boots. He's still not come back yet and he's been ages. While he's been out the phone rang but my Mum couldn't get to it in time, so we don't know who that was!
