Online shops should start open box delivery

Most goods that we order online are delivered packed and sealed. However I was cheated twice, once by Amazon that delivered a face gel instead of the shampoo that I ordered. Recently a few days back an online shop called "my budget" advertised a undergarment for senior citizens which I liked and ordered but they delivered a baby slip. It's a Chinese product marketed by Americans. If this goes on online shops will start losing market and start ups will vanish within no time. At least I have started avoiding new products advertisement.

Yes those sellers on Amazon can be deceitful and sell no good products. So sorry this happened to you. Can you get a refund?

We occasionally receive the wrong thing too.

I see no option of refund or return. I send them a email today. Let's see what they do.

Now I am again being harassed by a seller who delivered a defective vacuum cleaner through Flipkart and won't refund my money. I have to file a case in the consumer court now.

@aninditasen That's good to know. Here, packages are sometimes just left at the door and we may not open them until some time later.

If the delivery is open box and the product is not the right product we can immediately return it to the courier boy.
