Good afternoon.
It's five days post stroke, and PT was able to get George standing. He's doing a lot better and we're able to hold conversations. He still says random things from time to time. But, I am happy to see him improving. We will never know if some of it is side affects from some of the meds making him loopy. I just want to see him recover. Post hospitalization he'll be on less meds so that'll help.

His vocabulary is almost all back, but he still struggles with aphasia from time to time.

@RebeccasFarm Yes. His brain needs to creat new pathways. Therapy will help him work with that.

He stood today, shuffled a couple steps. He would've tried to move to a normal chair, if his heart wasn't racing. But, I am proud of how easy it was.
