Working at home is in my opinion better than working at an office since I do not have to watch over my shoulder if I make a comment to someone that will offend them and have me fired for hate speech.

I agree, the freedom and comfort of remote work can be a refreshing change. It's great not to worry about office politics and the pressure of in-person interactions.

At the same time, the trend of remote work is now fading and companies are requiring most workers to return to the office. As it should be I think. I think there are SOME situations where remote work makes sense. But that is not true of most jobs in my opinion. I retired a few months ago and don't need money, but if I could find a remote job right now I would do it.
