A poll taken in 2012 revealed that tattooed women outnumber inked men. Women are also more likely to have their tats removed. The man with the most tattoos is Gregory Paul McLaren from Scotland. He has 100% of his body tattooed. This includes his inner eyelids, the inside of his ears, and mouth. The oldest recorded tattoo ink had insect eggs, tree bark, and leek juice in it. The earliest ink was made of charcoal and soot. Surprisingly, black ink absorbs the greatest number of laser waves, so it is removed from the skin much easier than vibrant, lighter colors like green and yellow. If the ink is pressed down through more layers(all 5) the tattoo will be more apt to spread and any writing will be less legible. Does anyone have a tat? My daughter has several but I have never gotten any. I personally do not want my skin all marked up. The picture is from my collection.
