Yellow Leaves A Plenty

For those of you who don't know my situation--- I live in my upstairs bedroom. I have two nice side-by-side windows out of which are three trees and a full expanse of limbs. Two Maples and one Locust. Leaves, leaves, and more leaves. I am totally cut off visually from the Taco Bell across the street and the major street just beyond. I do love the leaves. They were such a vibrant green color in the summer but now are turning fall colors and that ugly decaying brown.
The only positive thing about the winter is that the leaves fall and my view changes dramatically. I can actually see the world out there.
This morning I noticed that those brown decaying leaves and the fall colors had mostly all turned to this lovedly bright yellow. All of this happened overnight.
It is to be a sunny day in the above-average 60s range; with skies mostly clear this evening and a fair 37-degree temp.

You know it sounds lovely. I am so glad you have some view at all ..I am like you in my bedroom always, except for cooking and tidying and cleaning. I have no view, as I have to keep the curtains closed as other apartments can see directly inside here, or the sun is beating down making the place five million degrees.
I do get to the kitchen though.

Oh, those are the trees that set off your allergies. I'm sorry you don't have three maples out your window.
Maples turn a lovely yellowish-red here. I don't know if they're different kinds of maple trees or what, though.

@celticeagle People plant them in their yard as a "show piece". They're pretty in the Fall.

I did not know that when the winter comes, the leaves change color from brown to yellow.

Actually, they go from green to yellow and then to an ugly decaying brown. Then they fall off the tree.

Your leaves are a pretty bright yellow. The leaves I see from my deck are yellow but they are mostly on the ground now. Glad you have a nice view from your window. My only view is trees in summer and apartments when the leaves thin and fall.

@RubyHawk .......I am happy with my view. I get to see the crazies in line over at Taco Bell. There used to be fights and all manner of weirdness going on over there.

The temps will be in the 50s and 60s for the next week. It sure beats a ton of s**w. I hope you are having a good weekend. Soon you will have your view back.
