The Kid in me Never Seems to Leave

I am still a Buffy, the Vampire Slayer fan. I think I have watched the full series more than a dozen times since it was on prime time. I found myself watching several episodes last night on Hulu. (When all else fails it's either Buffy or Angel.) I was wondering about something with the storyline. I think that Xander and Willow should have been a couple. Xander and Cordelia didn't go well. She ended up dropping him. Then there is Anya. What a piece of work she was. A demon no less. I wouldn't want Xander to end up with a demon.
And, of course, Willow was such a dear she deserved to get the guy. (In real life she ended up with Alexis Denisof(Wesley Wyndam-Pryce)) She was mad over Oz but he was a werewolf and had to leave to keep her safe. Tara was special but not meant to be.
Yeah, Xander and Willow should have been a couple. Joss, get it right!
