I only thought tulips grew in Amsterdam and now in India Browsing through this video I got mesmerized. I have been to Amsterdam but missed the season just by 15 days. But this is something different. https://604now.com/event/abbotsford-lakeland-flowers-tulip-festival-2023/ This is a private farm and they have exhibitions of different flowers during different seasons. The next season for tulips will be April 2024. If any of you have plans to travel this should not be missed. It is too late for me now to travel. But those who have no plans to travel spend some time watching this video

I have been in that area of Canada and don't remember those fields. But: north of me, in my state of Washington, just north of Seattle, is Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon is in Skagit County and that area is crammed with tulips. Gorgeous. Dafodils, too. Mount Vernon has a huge tulip festival every Spring.

I did read about that as well. I now find there are several places besides Amsterdam where tulip festivals are held.

@allknowing One of my sisters earned money for her family by picking daffodils that were sold in stores.

Glorious, Thanks for sharing! And thanks for the information, I honestly thought the only major growing of tulips occurred in Holland, but now I know better.

Tulips grow well in Darjeeling and I have seen them. My sister- in- laws brother grow them in Kurseong and sells them.

Tulips need a cool climate and Darjeeling could be the place for them. I have been to Darjeeling but did not come across them

Thanks for sharing the video. It's gorgeous. I love tulips. But they don't last long.
