It's Delivery Day (furniture not a baby ...hahahaha)

Happy Friday! it's a partly cloudy day here today with warmer temperatures. It would probably be gorgeous if the sun was shining.
Waiting for a delivery today which is supposed to arrive around noon. My daughter is getting a recliner for her bedroom. She used to have one that was old and needed replacing but she decided she really didn't need one when it went out for the trash. Now all these months later she decided she misses it so she's getting a new one.
I'd be lost without my recliner, and I especially like being able to relax with my feet up. It's my go-to seat and my reading, crocheting and tv watching spot.
With all the hemming and hawing about getting a recliner the decision was pretty much made by the Christmas tree.
It was either get it now or wait until after Christmas. Why? Because they wouldn't be able to get it in the house when the Christmas tree is up because it would be in the way. My tree is fairly large and they wouldn't be able to maneuver around it once they come through the front door.
The tree is going up next weekend so that's that.
Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the few days left of Fall decorations before they're packed away for another year.

Oh nice Marilyn. I hope that chair is fine for your daughter. It is a roll of the dice sometimes.

Just sitting here waiting for my telehealth visit to start. Craft shows are going on this weekend. The one I really like is tomorrow, but don't know why they don't have a sign up like they usually do...new recliner sounds exciting.

Those telehealth visits are so convenient. I have one scheduled for next week.

I picked up a free meal voucher for my brother that Texas Roadhouse gave out last Saturday for Veterans Day. I’m going I to give that to him after lunch.

@Marilynda1225 — I do, too, and I’m so grateful to them for giving us free meals on Veterans Day (as well as a 10% discount all year long). Just too many points there for me. I like losing weight better.

My recliner is my late grandmother’s, and it is fake leather. And oh, is that not good. Little pieces of fake leather have fallen off, and I find them everywhere. However, I sleep pretty well in it, so in the end, I’m thankful for it.
Maybe you can post a picture of your Christmas tree once you get it up.

I was planning to have a go to recliner when I first moved here. Now I have a nice big brown recliner which is in my workroom but is covered with notebooks, books, and papers, It just worked out as a place to put things and I have not used it but I probably will change all that in the new year because being in the workroom I can put on my favorite music on my laptop and then just sit back and enjoy, Plus I can see the videos on YouTube from the chair, I will just be doing more writing on the weekend, It is the fourth day today that it has rained, I hope you have a great weekend,

I couldn't do without my power recliner. I spend all day and all night in it. Nothing planned for this weekend. Hope you have a great one.
