I would like to share a flower picture. My mom visited so many beautiful places. She took this picture. I am missing summer. Winter is here. Yesterday we had the first snow. I hope I can upload my picture here. Winter just started and I am not sure how can I cope with it. During the winter my depression and anxiety are worse. And without a job things are more difficult. Do you miss summer too?

Your Mom took this photo? It is certainly beautiful Diana. Yes the winter brings the depths of depression to many that suffer. For me, I love the winter and being all cozy inside away from the storm. I am glad you will be here to pass the winter by. Do you have enough heat there?

Yes, my mom took this photo. I used to post pictures for money, but all those sites disappeared. I will be here this winter. Fortunately, we have enough heat. Do you have enough heat? It's not very cold yet. They said that we will have a mild winter.

@dya80dya It is not very cold here either to me..I mean 35F is not cold to me. It is going to warm up today too to around 60F. Yes I have heat here..this apartment gets very hot even without putting heat on as the water boiler for the whole building is right on the kitchen wall. I wish it would get colder in fact. Yes all those photo sites disappeared like a lot of sites I know. It is getting harder and harder to make a few pennies. I love fall best.

@RebeccasFarm Fall is a beautiful season. I like it a lot. There are so many colorful leaves. I only dislike winter because it's too dark and gloomy. Do you like snow?

No, summer is not my favorite season. I miss early autumn when it's still warm enough, but not hot. This dahlia is beautiful.

@dya80dya Early Autumn was beautiful and not as hot as summer. I cannot stand the summer heat anymore, it's too hot.

Early autumn was like summer here, it was so hot. How was the weather there? I love sunny days, but I dislike gloomy days. They are depressing.

Why? Don't you like sunny days? If it's too hot I don't like it either.

Beautiful picture, thank you. I'm also a summer person, but I do enjoy the coziness that winter does bring. And of course I'll have Christmas in the winter for the first time ever. It will make a change from the sweaty affairs they usually are. We've not had snow in town yet, but the mountains around are covered with more to come this week. Hope you can load picture as well, Stay warm

@dya80dya Nope, we've lived all our lives so far in the Southern Hemisphere, so summer Christmas all the way

I can imagine how the beauty of the flower image brings back memories of summer. It's a wonderful idea to share uplifting images, especially during the winter months. I'm sorry to hear that winter tends to be challenging for you. Seasonal changes can actually impact mental wellbeing.

It's very true. I will have to find a solution. Maybe I should buy a lamp that replaces sunlight, but it's very expensive.

It is a beautiful picture! Diana, have you ever tried Zyprexa (there is a generic name for it I cannot remember)? I know you’ve told me you have tried a lot, but have you had that one? It helps depression and anxiety, but tends to make people gain weight, which I know you are trying to do.
