Kenneth Matthew of Laurel Maryland who is a former police officer went to purchase a $30 dollar $100,000 Cash scratch-off lottery ticket at a Central Exxon service station in Capital Heights on Wednesday November 1.
Kenneth decided to buy the $30 dollar scratch off ticket instead of the $5 Raven 5 scratch-off lottery ticket since he made a bet with the clerk at the service station that he would turn playing go-go music which is music sung by Chuck Brown who was famous in the 1970s that he would turn off playing go-go music when Kenneth was there even though Kenneth is old enough to have listened to that art form of music.
When Kenneth played the lottery ticket, he won the prize of $100,000 prize which Kenneth will use his winnings to pay for his daughter's college education costs.
As you know I am not a fan of rap and hip hop music. But I will keep my comments to myself if someone likes that music.

So nice that he won. I don't care for that type of music either.

Neither do I since we all have our musical tastes.

That is very true since I do accept the musical tastes of others even if I find it offensive.

@Deepizzaguy I like all kinds of music but my favorite is rock and country. I had a neighbor overhead that played rap.I grew to like it by listening to him. I don’t really listen to music now.

I am in agreement with you that Kenneth was lucky to win the huge prize.

That is very true since the odds of winning a huge payout on a $30 dollar ticket is nearly impossible.

Lucky man! I wouldn't pay $30 for a scratch-off ticket; and I don't like rap or hip hop.

Neither would I since like happy songs and not artists who complain about life being hard to sell records.
