Cold Friday

And a north wind blowing to make it feel even colder. I will bring the turkeys in but the outside Christmas decorations will wait I think until a warmer day. Next weekend might be a lot nicer. Right now we have 38 more days in this year.
I will get some of my inside decorations up today. While I am getting those out I will also sort out some stuff to donate. I have already threw one set of lights away since they didn't work. So I have started decluttering that stuff. I hope I find my Christmas cards today too so I can start filling them out.
We need to go get eggs today. That's the big excitement for the day. At least until we go get food this evening. Hope you have a good day.

It’s cold here in north Florida too. Well, cold by our standards! Lol. It also feels worse because it’s been raining.

I hate north winds. It does seem to go faster each year.
We got 3 dozen so unless I do some baking we will be good for a couple of weeks

@wolfgirl569 - Today the wind is very strong and it's incredibly cold. We never had so much wind in the past.
Three dozen of eggs should last you a while. I bought a box of 15 (YES, here they are sold by 15), and I had 15 more in the refrigerator.

@LadyDuck We seem to get more wind now than we used to. I don't like it.
Eggs are usually 12 or 18 here.

Yeah, it’s nasty out there with the wind.

It's just strong enough here to make it a lot colder feeling.
We have a couple of nights that might get down to high teens. Thankfully by next weekend it should warm back up a little

Decorating for the holidays and decluttering can be a great way to prepare for the season. I hope you find your Christmas cards and enjoy the process of filling them out. Going to get eggs and food may be a simple task, but sometimes those routine activities bring unexpected joy. Wishing you a wonderful and fulfilling day!
