I am reading that people are shopping like crazy. Shopping this year may be at an all-time high. Many online. Those who are having things sent to their homes or others have to have someone bring them to their steps. Yes:
"Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these courageous couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
So I for one am thanking my couriers very much when they appear at the door. It's not an easy job.

Yes, it is. Last year at this time experts were saying that we would be in a really bad recession. Instead, the country is better off than it has been for many years.

Because things are better than they have been. Biden is getting things done. Experts were saying that we'd be in a bad recession this time last year and we are not. Things are better than they have been for several years.

My son is an influencer so has packages every day. He's stepped up for Christmas shopping. The post office knows us very well. What is delivered there and not the house, I usually go pick up. Sometimes, they have us pull around to the loading dock and we load ourselves. They work so hard. He plans to give them a good tip this year.

I plan to buy a gift card for Starbucks for my Fed Ex guy. He packs forty pound boxes of cat litter from Chewy and other heavy stuff up my steps and into my porch. Smiling all the way. He saw me struggling once when he couldn't get it into the porch and he came back and helped me. I saw him today at the post office and he asked me how my weekend was. Very friendly and cheery. He needs a bonus.
