Teri Goodnight who has working on trapping dogs and rescuing them in Montogomery County in Texas for around three years answered an emergency from a female who saw a stray dog that had a bucket that was a cat feeder used wire cutters to remove the cat feeder from the head of the dog.
The dog had the nickname Jughead which is bas of the name of the Archie Comics comic book character named Forsythe Pendleton Jones III was able to survive by having the bucket on his head on the other side of his head which made it easy for the dog to eat, drink and breathe on Thursday October 26.
The dog got his head stuck on the bucket when the dog was eating a meal in the neighborhood on Tuesday October 21,
Teri was able to remove the bucket from the head of the dog safely. Jughead who is close friends with another stray dog named Red was then taken by Teri to the East Texas Hoof And Animal Rescue.
Teri is hoping that both Red and Jughead will be adopted by a loving family soon. When I read the headline that a dog had a bucket on his head, I thought that the dog would have been dead from starvation since the dog could not eat food due to the bucket on his head.

I remember the character Jughead. I enjoyed those comics when younger.
He had that on his head for awhile. Hope they both get adopted.

Silly doggy to get his head stuck in a bucket and I am glad he is going to be all right. I love his name and when you mention his friend is Red I think the friend should be names Archie because Archie had red hair,

The dog was able to breathe the hard way since the open part of the bucket was where he could eat and drink thank goodness.
