Being alone at home is a complex dilemma as the perception of this experience varies significantly from person to person. For some, it represents a moment of solitude, while for others, it translates into a precious oasis of absolute peace. For those who see solitude in these solitary moments, the concept might evoke feelings of isolation and a lack of connection. Solitude, in this context, could take on negative connotations, suggesting a lack of social interaction and a sense of emotional emptiness. However, it is crucial to understand that solitude is not inherently negative; it can provide space for reflection, self-discovery, and emotional rejuvenation. How do you experience this situation?

This is pure peace and quiet, something my soul craves with so much turmoil going on around us. My soul drinks this up like a thirsty man in the desert.

I am a very introverted personality and so my alone time is something I absolutely cherish. It's when I can just be me entirely and focus on what I want to do. A lot of my alone time is spent writing and creating things, and because that is such an important focus and part of my life... I adore it. Sometimes to a fault. Sometimes selfishly. But I can't change who I am. Nor do I want to.

If I am home alone a few times, I do not feel lonely. I would say that I am glad to have the home for myself and to do what I like. Being alone all the time is another matter. This could become depressing.

I don't mind being home alone when hubby is out. But I do like getting out and seeing other people too
