...online tutorial company this evening due to power outage. It is fine with me. But I got furious when she claimed to be a truance case. What?!? Then, I realized that the customer service representative is not good at using the English language. She is relying on using the translator app, which makes me feel off in the first stage of working with them. It means she does not know the right words for making complete sentences.Oh, well! She keeps sending text messages while I have my classes online tonight. I just ignore them. I do not want to be stressed out. Nagging is not my thing to endure. They do not know how to be considerate. "Past is past. Everything has been said and done." How would you feel in this kind of situation? Image Credit: images.hindustantimes.com

I just said straight away to this person to deduct and stop nagging me about it. I cannot control the power outage, so to speak. Luckily, she stopped pestering me tonight.

@Shavkat I am very glad she stopped pestering you. Hard to talk to those who do not want to listen.

@LadyDuck At least, I am taking it easy. If she bullied me to stop working with them, I am fine with that because I still a backup Japanese company.

That would be annoying if you are not able to communicate smoothly due to some reason. Here it seems to be language barrier. You failed to attend, so it might be a truance case. But then it's not actually because you had no intention to do so. You have no fault in power cut

I even explain it to her, and she is referring to the company's policy. I told her my case, and she did not listen. So, I just ignore her and continue teaching my classes online. Sometimes it is so frustrating to deal with these people.

@arunima25 I am like them though. If I am in the mood, I replied them back with sarcasm. They stopped if being answered back with truthfulness.

@Shavkat Hmm...it can be frustrating. But many a times these employees are also helpless. They have to follow the rules and at times, these rules are not well explained to them or not clear to them too. Sorry that you had to face that.

I’m sorry that sounds frustrating when you are busy to have to deal with something you couldn’t help.

The best option is to ignore her. If not, she will continue acting liking this.

I am also thinking the same way. She acted like I am not a well-skilled virtual teacher.

You said it right. I can be a multi-tasker, but not like this. Entertaining makes things worse. I just told her to penalize me and move on.

I would be extremely upset, and I would see if I could talk to someone above her. That is not fair or justified for you.

It is really not fair for them to do this. Most Chinese companies do not entertain this kind of issue. If they keep on doing this, I will just focus more on the Japanese company.

I will do the same and just ignore that. If they can't even construct proper sentences, it's understandable why they can't find more suitable words to say to you.

I've never experienced "customer service" initially after a complaint or a problem, these "customer service" interactions only make the problem bigger or take very long to resolve the complaint. So much for English tutoring - if their staff cannot converse, maybe their staff should be the first ones getting tutoring. Sorry this is happening to you as a result of something you have no control over.

This is what I am saying to my close student in class. She noticed that I was typing and explained the situation to her. My student and I have the same belief that this customer service representative should study the English language. Even if the situation is valid, they just keep disregarding it. That is why I ignored her all throughout the night.
